In order to maximize weight reduction, performance and strength all 2009 SRS+ and LG1+ wearplates (upper and lower), Direct Mount Bashguards or Turbochargers are 2009 model year specific and are for use specifically with SRS+/LG1+ series Chain Retention Systems.
Previous model year Retention Systems including the aluminum 2006-08 SRS, LG1, DRS, STS and 32 special, along with 2008 LS1, SS, DSS/DS and ST, must continue to use 2006-2008 model year specific bolt kits, wearplates (upper and lower), Superchargers or Direct Mount Tacos. 2009 parts WILL NOT fit 2006-08 generation Chain Retention Systems and are not designed for "backwards compatibility".
